Hello there,
I’ve spent most of my life growing curiosity with children.
For ten years, I was a nanny to children nine and under.
For twelve years, I taught middle school science.
Now, I’m a parent to two kids, ages seven and three, watching curiosity unfold in real time.
Young children are naturally curious. They notice everything. They ask questions without worrying about answers. Over time, that curiosity is often rushed, redirected, or quietly set aside in the name of efficiency, progress, or getting things right.
As a middle school science teacher, I was able to see how curiosity shows up later in an academic setting. The students who stayed curious were the ones who kept asking questions, trying again, and wanting to learn more.
That kind of curiosity does not appear overnight.
It is built slowly, long before middle school.
Wonder Together grew from that understanding.
This is not about doing more activities or getting ahead.
It is about protecting curiosity early, so learning later feels meaningful, self driven, and alive.
You do not need to be a science expert.
Wonder is something we grow into, not something we rush.
